Today's research is tomorrow's treatment.
The fields of research supported by the Medical Research Foundation (MRF) touch the lives of all Western Australians.
If research into common disorders such as heart disease, diabetes and leukaemia is to succeed, it will be because of the combined efforts of scientists, governments and all Australians.
Supporting medical research at Royal Perth Hospital
Medical research is vital if we are to find what causes diseases and ways to prevent or treat conditions that impact our lives.
Like all research, investigations in the field of medicine are both time-consuming and costly, but vital. Funding for research comes from a number of avenues, including foundations such as ours, and from generous individuals who can see the benefits to all from supporting these endeavours.
Royal Perth Hospital requires your help to fund our research.
There are a number of ways to help, including:
- Make annual or more frequent donations
- Make provision (bequest) in your will
- Donate in lieu of a birthday gift
- Donate in memory of a loved one.
Please note that donations are tax deductible.
