CHANGES Program
(Challenging Habitual Attitudes by Nurturing Growth, Education and Self Responsibility)
The CHANGES Program (formerly know as the Day Hospital) is a full time outpatient treatment facility, with an emphasis on group therapy as the primary vehicle for change, for patients with severe or moderately severe deficits in personality functioning, i.e. who have longstanding maladaptive ways of relating to their environment and themselves. Patients will typically have had extensive contact with other services; they may or may not have other significant psychiatric or physical medical diagnoses.
A general referral can be forwarded to the Duty Office for clients to be triaged as appropriate. If you have any queries specific to the CHANGES program, contact us on 9224 3155 or fax 9224 1786.
